How much is my Honda CRV Worth?

Kelly Blue Book is higher than I would have thought. I have a 2000 silver Honda CRV not sure of EX, SE, or LX but I think EX. It's in fair condition there is a little rust on the passenger rear above the wheel and a few tiny places were its just starting to rust. The trunk latch sticks but the motor is using oil and the heads knock. It has 167,000 miles on it. Just wondering what it's actually worth? I need to know how far to pay the loan down before I can try to trade it in. Tires are only 1 1/2 years old Just had all new plugs and repaired a cylinder. Spent over $400 on fixing it.

With the engine problems, you will be lucky to get anything over salvage value for it which will be about 30% of the Kelly Blue Book. For the dealer to resell it, they are going to have to replace the engine and most dealers don't want to get involved in that. They will just ship it out to the auction or the junk yard.

Pay the loan off, you are probably way upside down in it anyway.
