...tires and wheels. how big can i go? how much bigger can i go with the tires and wheels without compromising handling, ride/noise comfort and turning radius significantly?

First you didn't specify if you wanted taller or wider tires, or both. Any GOOD tire and wheel dealers (into high performance should be able to help). It depends on what you want to do with the Pilot. Off Road magazines and experts should also be able to help. for that mater so should a savvy Honda dealer considering their long and extensive involvement in many forms of Motor Sport. Be
careful. The wrong choice can be deadly, so be careful. I had 16 years in both oval and road racing on dirt and pavement. Tire choice is an extremely complex process, even for passenger vehicles. What seems most logical may not be a good choice. If you just wanna look cool, put the biggest thing on that will fit, but be prepared to balled a terrible handling vehicle.

I have a nice set of 18" wheels & tires. They are very close in overall diameter, so they should not affect your speedometer. Give me a email address & I'll send you pictures.
