Default Fuel Economy Rating Leaked for 2018 Honda Civic Type-R

Granted, when considering the purchase of a $40,000, 300 horsepower performance hatchback, very few buyers lose any sleep over fuel economy. But then again, this is the 2018 Honda Civic Type-R.

As the Honda loyal debate over fuel economy ratings, and what their custom tuner, or out of the box, club racer should average on a gallon of unleaded, the boys at Civic X stumble upon the latest EPA rated fuel economy for the soon to arrive high performance 2018 honda Civic Type-R. It’s much higher than I anticipated, and will certainly vary by the way one drives their pocket rocket.

2.0 Liter, turbocharged, direct injected, 4 cylinder gas, 6-speed manual transmission.
